Acorn Stairlifts
Stairlifts Acorn
In 1992, a family-owned company named Acorn Stairlifts was established. The company initially sold reconditioned stairlifts made by other manufacturers. They eventually designed and manufactured their own brand of stairlifts, which brought us the Superglide Stairlift, which continues to be a top seller today.
Acorn pioneered the use of DC batteries in their designs which allowed their stairlifts to be operational even during power outages. Other companies, later on, adopted the same principle in their own products.
This company makes more than 50,000 units annually which are sold across the UK, and other countries such as US, Australia, Canada, France, Italy, Germany, and South Africa.
They make both straight and curved stairlifts which can be fitted to any type of stairs, and they even offer a free survey done by their trained professionals to determine which model of stairlift from their catalog is best for your needs.
