Off-road engineering

The Hexhog was designed by Sion Pierce, an engineer and farmer’s son. During his final year at University Sion became aware of a farming family who used quad bike ATVs to access their land, however as one family member was a wheelchair user they could not participate. This provided the inspiration for the Hexhog. Sion wanted to create a vehicle that would challenge terrain accessibility of conventional wheelchairs, and provide equal opportunities for wheelchair users to safely access areas of countryside previously considered inaccessible.
