The company was started in 2000 by it’s owner Will McLean after spending some unfortunate time in hospital with a broken back. When Will eventually walked out of hospital he felt very blessed but guilty at the same time for there where people still in the hospital ward unable to walk again and never will. He wanted to help people who where less fortunate than himself to enjoy their valuable freedom again, so Will started a Mobility Company called Freedom Mobility.
